Sustainable Water Management
Join our expert-led course on Sustainable Water Management in Playa Venao, guided by Natalia Vega, co-director of the Permaculture Institute and a recognized leader in regenerative water design. This immersive program blends technical knowledge, applied practice, and strategic design thinking to equip participants with the skills to implement resilient, sustainable water systems for homes, communities, and urban developments.
The course utilizes real-world sites and case studies as living classrooms, combining lectures (60%) and hands-on exercises (40%). Participants will explore practical solutions including rainwater harvesting, wastewater treatment, soil and erosion management, and the integration of water systems into broader landscape and urban designs. The program concludes with a capstone project designing a sustainable water system for a real property or community initiative.
